Safety and integrity matter in a Christian community. Find out how Hope creates a safe environment for children, youth, and vulnerable adults.
Founded in 2023, Hope Episcopal Church is the culmination of a multi-year relationship between Church of the Good Shepherd in Town & Country and St. Luke's Church in Manchester. In 2022 these congregations chose to honor the legacy of both churches by walking together as a new community of faith. As a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri and The Episcopal Church, we are part of a larger family of faith known as Anglicans. Anglican Christians trace their roots to Christianity in England, and Episcopalians have had a presence here in Missouri since the early 19th century, and in the United States since colonial times, with the establishment of the Episcopal Church in 1785.
With renewed energy, we have turned our vision outward to the community and our neighbors. Everyone is welcome at Hope Church, and we mean EVERYONE!
Hope Episcopal Church welcomes everyone, just as Jesus did. Whoever you are, and wherever you find yourself on the journey of faith, you are welcome here!
